Our physiotherapy can be provided privately (fees apply) or through Medicare EPC funding / DVA if you are eligible and provide an appropriate referral from your GP.

Our physios can also assist you with everyday aches and pains and can assist you to get the best out of your fitness and wellbeing while priding themselves on a ‘hands on’ treatment approach with generous consultation time.

If you have private health insurance with extras cover we provide you with instant health fund rebates through ISOFT at the time of your consultation.

Chiropractor

Dr Sylvia Kondekas completed her studies in 1994, and has had more than 20 years of clinical experience.

Dr Kondekas provides caring, gentle hands and effective treatment, in a safe and supportive environment. Her approach is sensitive and holistic. With diverse knowledge in a variety of techniques she is able to offer care to patients of all ages as well as offer you nutrition, lifestyle and exercise advice. She is experienced in helping patients with a vast array of conditions.

Dr Kondekas is a registered service provider for work related injuries (WorkCover), traffic accident injuries (TAC), Veteran’s Affairs and Medicare Enhanced Primary Care(EPC) for chronic musculoskeletal conditions. These fees are set and payed by the relevant third party.

If you have private health insurance cover with chiropractic extras, rebates are available instantly at the time of consultation through ISOFT at Hallam Family Practice.

Do I need a GP’s referral?

Chiropractors are primarily healthcare practitioners, so a referral is not necessary. *Private Fees Apply

However, chiropractic treatment funded through Medicare EPC- Enhanced Primary Care Program, or through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, requires a referral from you GP.
