Alison works as a Health At Every Size dietitian®. HAES® dietitians use a non-diet approach, which recognises that dieting fails in the long term for most people, and that everybody deserves respectful healthcare without the focus being on their weight.

Working with non-judgment and compassion, her expertise are in the areas of: Eating Disorders, disordered eating, helping individuals move away from chronic dieting, improving body image and relationship to food.   She is currently undergoing her credentialling in Eating Disorders management, Gastrointestinal Disorders including Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Coeliac Disease and Reflux. If you have an ‘IBS’ or a fructose / lactose malabsorption diagnosis that has not improved with the advice you have already received, you likely have an incorrect diagnosis and Alison will often identify this. PCOS management without a weight focus.

Alison accepts GP Management Plans / EPC Plans, Eating Disorder Plans, NDIS referrals and self referrals. Please speak with reception about out of pocket costs.
